Toupées for Men & Women

Used to cover partial baldness in men and women, a toupée is a hairpiece or partial wig made of natural or synthetic hair.

Toupées are attached to the head using a tape or adhesive but you can be confident that the styling team at Simone Thomas Hair Salon in Westbourne, Dorset, have a fantastic reputation due to our ability to style and cut toupées to look 100 per cent natural.

Wigs Made From Human Hair 

If cared for correctly, a high quality human hair wig can last a lifetime! Ideally we will fit your wig in a private room at our hair salon in Westbourne, Dorset where we can cut and style your hair so it suits you.

Simone Thomas Salons stock various well-known brands including the hugely popular Gem and Supplex Wig Collections.  Prices start from £600.

Gem Wigs:  Our Gem collection comprises of luxurious hand-tied human hair wigs made using the finest soft touch Remy human hair. These wigs are initially unstyled (we will style your wig to suit your face shape), are fully washable and will brush in any direction and still look fantastic. 

Supplex Wigs: These human hair wigs are so popular because they look natural. They are designed for women with total hair loss using the finest quality Remy hair, which is washable and can be blow dried and styled using heated rollers or straighteners.

Synthetic Wigs - Lightweight & Pre-Styled

Synthetics wigs are lighter, come pre-styled and can be washed but not blow dried. 

We particularly like the Sentoo Premium Wigs with their hand-tied caps which feel soft against the skin and are comfortable to wear, however we offer a wide selection of synthetic wigs and can help you choose a look that best suits you.

Rest assured that our team of stylists are also highly trained to style your wig into a hairstyle that flatters your features and looks natural. 

Synthetic wigs are more suitable for short-term wear and people undergoing cancer treatments as they are easy to look after which means less effort when you are not feeling your best.

We are trained in specialist wig cutting techniques so will cut and style your wig to reduce bulk and add texture for a more natural appearance.  If you have already purchased a wig elsewhere and would like it thinned and textured we are happy to do this for you.
